Accessing the magnetic susceptibility of FeRh on a sub-nanosecond time scale

Abstract

We measure the magnetization curves as a function of time delay in FeRh thin films. Due to a first order magnetic phase transition, an anhysteretic curve is measured giving access to the magnetic susceptibility on a subnanosecond timescale.
