Abstract
Abstract: A 12‐year‐old girl developed acanthosis nigricans due to increased levels of serum insulin. Hyperinsuiinemia has been recognized as the underlying cause in most cases of acanthosis nigricans. In this paper we outline a typical clinical case with special regard to the proposed pathogenesis.
