Abstract

The efficient handling of engineering and manufacturing changes is an essential requirement for the long-term success of companies. In the change management process, the identification of affected employees and departments is essential to generate and disseminate all necessary information. Therefore, this contribution introduces an approach for data-driven stakeholder identification in change management to support change coordinators. It is based on historical change process data and uses process mining for analysis. Additionally, it shows how past process versions can be considered in the analysis. The approach was evaluated in cooperation with a medical technology company.
