Abstract

Navigated Control promises a high potential for surgery on the lateral skull base where many delicate risk structures are assembled in close spatial relationship Before clinical trials, test on technical phantoms become obligatory. The closer the test setup to clinical/anatomic situations the more information on the conduct in clinical trials can be obtained. In this study the principle of navigated Control was applied successfully on a very close to application technical demonstrator.
