Abstract

An efficient version of hybrid time-domain transmission line matrix (TLM)-Integral Equation method will be presented for the analysis of the electromagnetic interference in high frequency communication circuits, combining the time domain thin wire Electric Field Integral Equation (EFIE) with a symmetrical condensed node TLM mesh. The method is highly effective for the analysis of the interaction between an arbitrarily curved thin wire structure, and a complex object exhibiting compound dielectric and lossy materials, separated by large free space. The interaction between the objects is described via Green's functions. The application of this hybrid method compared with the conventional TLM Method is discussed.
