N2 - The following paper is a research project in which a Virtual Articulator which allows for the simulation of mandibular movements has been developed. By using this articulator, kinematic analysis can be taken into account in the design of dental prostheses, which constitutes a significant improvement in this field. The main practical implications of this paper are, on the one hand, the improvement in dental CAD/CAM systems by adding the kinematic analysis, and on the other, the analysis of the simulations of different articulators, since each of them has an individual pattern of movement.
