Abstract
The First Joint Congress on Orthopaedics and Casualty Surgery of the German Society for Orthopaedics and Orthopaedic Surgery and the German Society for Casualty Surgery, as the professional associations of specialists in orthopaedics, will take place in Berlin from 19 to 22 October 2005. The Congress abstracts will be published by SpringerLink as "electronic supplementary material" in the journals Der Orthopäde and Der Unfallchirurg; they will be available online at "derorthopaede.de" and "derunfallchirurg.de".
