Abstract
A simple, high-yield synthetic route to otherwise inaccessible multiply bridged organometallic compounds having carbonyl, alkylidene and sulfur dioxide bridges is exemplified by the reactivity of bis[μ-carbonyl(η5-pentamethylcyclopentadienyl)cobalt] (Co-Co) towards diazoalkanes and sulfur-dioxide.
