Project Details

Description

nclusiveSpaces focuses on the inclusive design, monitoring, and evaluation of urban spaces. The project introduces co-design accessibility concepts, engaging people with disabilities and older adults to improve inclusiveness, social cohesion, and climate change adaptation and mitigation. It develops innovative solutions which foster universal design principles, empower diverse groups, and promote climate-friendly practices. Planning tools and assistive technologies will be demonstrated and evaluated in six European cities: Athens-Penteli, Geneva, Madrid, Larnaka, Hamburg, and Budapest. Findings will be translated into policies and recommendations, aiming to standardize design frameworks for inclusive, climate-friendly environments.
