Prof. Dr. Rudolf Gross receives in recognition of his special services in the promotion of international scientific cooperation and as a long-standing member of the Humboldt Foundation's selection committee for the awarding of Humboldt and Friedrich Wilhelm Bessel Research Awards to international researchers, the Werner Heisenberg Medal.
