Research interests
Azzurra Ruggeri is an Associate Professor and Chair of Cognitive Developmental Psychology in the Department of Educational Sciences, School of Social Sciences and Technology at the Technical University of Munich. She is also faculty in the Department of Cognitive Science at the Central European University, Vienna. She holds a Ph.D. in Psychology from Humboldt University of Berlin and a Ph.D. in Cognitive Science from the University of Siena.
Prof. Ruggeri directs the iSearch lab, which studies how children and adults explore and learn in active, self-directed ways, how they make decisions, the drivers of their individual differences and the mechanisms underlying their ability to face uncertain future challenges, with the goal to support the development of more efficient and individualised decision education programs.
