2022 - 2025, International Society of the Learning Sciences (ISLS), Publications Committee, Status: Co-chair (with Prof. David Stroupe [USA] until 06/24; with Dr. Jennifer Khan [USA] from 06/24 onwards).The Publications Committee develops editorial and publications policies, maintains the ISLS Publications FAQ, and provides copyright permissions for ISLS conference proceedings. The committee is also involved in a number of ad-hoc tasks circles, including improved formats for internationalizing authorship at the Journal of the Learning Sciences (JLS) and the international Journal for Computer Supported Collaborative Learning (ijCSCL). During my term as a co-chair, I worked to double the membership from 11 to 22 members. Current initiatives include: negotiations and signatures related to editorial contracts for JLS and ijCSCL editors in chief, AI statement for ISLS publications, proceedings process streamlined, writing initiatives to strengthen international participation in the ISLS society at large, editor search for the Journal of the Learning Sciences.
