Abstract
Public Health Nutrition is an important component of Public Health since nutrition-related diseases swallow up a great deal of health budget. Nutrition science, nutritionists and ecotrophologists and the German Nutrition Society can and have to be involved in planning, conception and realization of activities in Public Health.
