Abstract
Between 1995 and 1996, investigations were carried out into aspects of visual and perspective acuity on the ski slopes. The eyesight of leisure-time skiers was registered. Tests were conducted to determine the influence of visual acuity on the ability to recognize potential danger spots on the slope. Additional testing was performed to clarify the influence of different color filters on eyesight and perspective acuity on the ski runs. Finally, the results from this study were analyzed.
