N2 - At the moment, the most extensive database for thermal comfort studies is ASHRAE Global Thermal Comfort Database II. It is a valuable data compilation of data from past surveys that formed the current adaptive comfort model. However, comfort research discovered the importance of new indices since then; 1. The temporal component of thermal sensation, and 2. Biosignal data correlated to thermal physiology. There are already several studies focusing on one or both indices and in the near future, the data production will speed up incrementally. This paper investigates the current database and suggests a framework to update it to include new approaches.
