An elegant solution is given by combining the noncontacting displacement-velocity-sensors and the bearing itself into one unit. This bearing-sensor-unit with satisfactory input/output characteristic can be performed. The application in the area of actively controlling the vibrations of an asymmetric multibody rotor is demonstrated.",
