Abstract
The fitting of printed circuits calls for the use of highly sophisticated, capital-intensive automatic insertion machines, the production output of which is however dependent on a large number of factors. The following paper presents a simulation tool which simplifies both the selection and user-specific modification of the machines as well as the production planning and control of the existing machinery.
