Abstract

A robust sliding mode prediction model is combined with sliding mode voltage model observer to achieve sensorless PTC (predictive torque control) method, in this paper. Closed loop sliding mode voltage model observer is proposed to compensate the effect of stator and rotor resistances uncertainties. A novel closed loop prediction model is developed to reduce the effect of the errors which are injected from the observer. Feedback gains for prediction and observer models are assigned by robust H-inf analysis. Simulation and experimental results are presented in wide speed range to verify the proposed method.
