Abstract

After a brief review of the present state of processing of digital imagery, generated by an opto-electronic three line camera, the mathematical model used is described in detail. Further on, the model is interpreted as a special case of generalized combined point determination which is able to process both image coordinates of frame cameras and linear array imagery. Then the efficiency of the mathematical model is demonstrated by simulated examples for strip adjustment and block adjustment of three line imagery. The simulations were performed as free adjustment, with control points and with a given digital terrain model as the only control information. Finally, future tasks for R&D in connection with the use of opto-electronic 3-line cameras are mentioned.-Authors
