Abstract

The following paper presents an approach to identify optimal roll behavior for passenger cars equipped with semiactive dampers and active electromechanical anti-roll bars. Acentral roll torque reference and a roll torque allocation interface are introduced which together allow for separated manipulation of transient and stationary roll behavior. A new subjective-objective correlation approach is presented which uses human perception models to improve matching between the objective and the subjective evaluation basis of roll dynamics to finally enable identification of optimal central roll torque reference.
