abstract = "This work analyzes the Peak-to-Average-Power Ratio (PAPR) of single-carrier modulation in massive Multi-User (MU) Multiple-Input Multiple-Output (MIMO) systems while using the Root-Raised Cosine (RRC) filter for pulse shaping. Simulation results show that the PAPR at the transmit antennas increases with the number of transmit antennas and the number of served users. An RRC pulse shaper with roll-off factor around 0.4 is optimal in terms of minimal PAPR.",
