Abstract
The first part of this paper deals with numerical analysis of single-phase flow through an injector nozzle. Experimental data are compared with turbulent flow calculations. In the second part the cavitating flow in an simple nozzle geometry is investigated by using a homogeneous "law of state"-cavitation model. The capability of this model concerning the prediction of typical effects of cavitation is studied.
