Abstract
Emergency scenarios of a reentry vehicle are considered with regard to failures in the aerodynamic control surfaces, consisting of a blocked body flap and a blocked rudder. Such failures lead to degradations in the control of the vehicle. The main goal is to develop strategies to ensure a safe reentry in case of the addressed emergency scenarios.
