Abstract

In this work we present an electrochemical microfluidic platform for the detection of multiple analytes. The developed system allows the simultaneous readout of up to four different enzyme-linked assays even in various formats. The applicability was shown with the antibiotic detection of tetracycline in different concentrations by means of a DNA-based assay on a single chip. With a sample-to-result time of 15 min, a sample and reagent volume of less than 1 μl and a detectable concentration of 6.25 ng ml-1, a very sensitive, low-cost and fast immunosensing platform was established.
