Abstract

The imaging of sub-ns spin dynamics with transmission x-ray microscopy was discussed. The cross-like pattern consistent with micromagnetic simulations was elaborated. The inherent element-specificity is expected to open the technique to multicomponent thin layered and laterally patterned systems with both-in-plane and out-of-plane anisotropies.
