title = "Homogeneous Catalytic Olefin Epoxidation with Molybdenum Complexes",
abstract = "[CpMoO2Cl] was among the first examples of organometallic oxides. Over the years, the synthetic pathway to complexes of the type [(η5-C5R5)MoO2Cl] was optimized. As a further development, it was found that not only the dioxo complexes but also the more stable and therefore easily storable precursor complexes [(η5-C5R5)Mo(CO)3Cl] are efficient catalysts in olefin epoxidation, if applied together with tert-butylhydroperoxide. Great variability by ligand modification (both on the Cp-ring and directly at the metal center) is possible, opening the way to immobilization and chirality introduction.",
