Abstract

A network of 20 research projects stimulates the use of timber by broadening and deepening the knowledge about the material in a wide range of subjects. This includes basic research, new materials, optimized applications and a new developed internet search machine specialised for timber and timber structures. Finally the results of all this sub projects culminate in a common planning project that should be erected as a practical transfer of theoretical research.
