Abstract
Pediatric cardiac dysrhythmias in patients without structural heart disease are not rare, often benign and accessible to different treatment strategies. In children or adolescents with congenital heart disease or a genetic disorder, dysrhythmias are often complex or life- threatening. Besides the traditional medical therapy, interventional techniques like catheter ablation using radiofrequency or cryo-energy have gained widespread acceptance in the treatment of a large spectrum of dysrhythmias.
