Abstract

We present the framework and results of an econometric study of the impacts of arsenic consumption in rural Cambodia on household decision making, particularly labor supply choices, and farm productivity. The research analyses how the health impacts of arsenic consumption are manifested in economic decision making and agricultural production. The results of this research may be used to help inform cost benefit analyses and future mitigation policies, including setting of regulatory standards.
