Abstract
Based on a scoring of genotypes, a pairwise genetic comparison was performed between tolerant and sensitive trees in six adult beech stands subjected to prolonged air pollution. A corresponding genetic inventory was conducted in two juvenile stages in the form of a comparison between germinating seed samples from different provenances and the two-year-old survivors at various field stress conditions.
