Abstract
For several physical problems, we do not know the fundamental solution U required in (3.27) and (3.28). But (if the coefficients of the differential operator are constant), we can always derive the Fourier transform Û(x̂) of U(x).Therefore, Fourier-BEM as a more general numerical approach is derived in this chapter.
