Abstract

High performance three-phase PWM rectifier topologies are mandatory in first stage of telecommunication power supplies due requirements regarding standards of EMC and power grid as well compactness and high efficiency provided. In this context two and three level topologies have been addressed in this application successfully, considering different control and modulation strategies. The paper proposes an analytical comparative analysis of current efforts at system level performance of SiC-based 15 kW three-phase PWM rectifier topologies.
