Abstract

In this study two different AC charging concepts were evaluated. For this purpose, a target scenario with the planned number of public charging points and electric vehicles was defined in cooperation with the city of Munich. In the economic evaluation, the investment and operating costs of the respective concepts are compared with the revenue from the sale of energy. In addition, the influence of blocked charging points was considered. The study shows that an economic operation in a period of 8 years defined by the City of Munich is not possible with the framework conditions considered.
