Erosion of self-hardening slurry.

Permeability tests with self-hardening bentonite-cement slurry carried out over more than 6 years have shown that erosion depends on the gradient and the type of cement. Using Hochofen cement a gradient of less than 35 is possible. Beyond this point more detailed and sophisticated engineering evaluations should be carried out to evaluate the ability of cement-bentonite cutoff calls to resist erosion. The method of a possible evaluation is described. (English abstract)
