Abstract
Method for integrated increase of energy productivity. Manufacturing companies nowadays are facing pressure to reduce energy consumption while untapped potential remains in production processes. This article will present a method of increasing energy efficiency. Based on energy value stream for existing production processes, an energy value stream design is performed to set up optimization measures. The method was validated in the Learning Factory for Energy Productivity (LEP) at iwb.
