Abstract
An experimental technique for the detection ofpolycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) adsorbed on aerosols was developed. The principle of measurement is the time-resolved fluorescence spectroscopy. In our new set-up a nitrogen laser is employed for excitation of fluorescence. Results were compared with those of a former set-up in which a frequency-doubled dye-laser was used.
