Design and Implementation of an Effort Estimation Tool for Electric Vehicle Development

Abstract

The aim of this work is to develop an effort estimation method that allows an effort forecast for realization of vehicle projects in a university environment at an early concept phase. As a first step, the most suitable method is selected from the available ones. Afterwards, the most important costs and size drivers of vehicle projects already carried out are identified. Then, the estimation tool based on the COSYSMO method and the comparison of the calculated results with the actual results are presented.
