Abstract
The skin is the organ which is most frequently involved in drug hypersensitivity (DH) [1]. Multiple cutaneous reaction types have been attributed to DH. However, in patients with confirmed cutaneous drug hypersensitivity reaction (CDHR), the picture is limited, and the vast majority (>95%) of reaction types can be categorized into a few entities with different morphology, chronology, and mechanisms [1-5]. As these entities carry different implications for causative drugs, diagnostic methods, and management, it is important to recognize them. A recent guideline has categorized these recognized diagnoses [3].
