Abstract
In this paper, a new proton-conductive compound of (NH4)2SnP4O13 was synthesized by a simple solid state method. X-ray diffraction, scanning electronic microscopy and thermal gravimetric analysis investigation were performed on this compound. The conductivity of (NH4)2SnP4O13 was measured by impendence spectroscopy with the temperature range of 125-275 °C under different atmospheres. Maximum conductivities of 13.8 mS cm-1 at 275 °C under dry H2 and 35.5 mS cm-1 at 225 °C under wet H2 respectively were obtained.
