Abstract
A tandem differential mobility analyzer (TDMA) was set up and calibrated to study hygroscopic properties of test aerosols. Test aerosols were produced using either the nebulization technique or the sublimation technique with a modified LaMer-Sinclair generator. The growth curves of nebulized NaCl and MgCl2 aerosols were determined.
