Abstract
Anaphylaxis can be a life-threatening event. In acute cases, an adequate therapy is essential. After successful acute therapy, an allergological diagnostic workup and management recommendations are essential, whether in the area of allergen avoidance or in carrying an emergency kit for immediate help. Knowledge of anaphylaxis needs to be improved at various levels.
